About MCPC: APA and State Attorney Spencer Merriweather proudly invite you to the 2025 APA Winter Major County Prosecutors Council (MCPC) Meeting taking place January 30-31, 2025, at the Mecklenburg County Attorney’s Office in Charlotte, North Carolina. The meeting will highlight the Mecklenburg Model for Collaborative Leadership with Law Enforcement as well as Sustaining State Prosecutor Relationships Across Urban/Rural Divide and Developing Strategies for Community Safety Challenges Associated with Homelessness. We will also be discussing machine gun conversion devices. APA's Major County Prosecutors Council (MCPC), made up of the elected prosecuting attorneys from the most populated jurisdictions in the United States, was created in 2013 to further meet the demands that prosecutors from large urban areas face in the administration of justice. The MCPC gathers in person bi-annually for a two-day summit to discuss the current issues they are grappling with and model policies and protocols to address these issues. Contact: [email protected] |
