Deputy District Attorney Nicole Harris from the Multnomah District Attorney's Office will discuss concepts, questions and tactics in selecting a jury for animal abuse and animal neglect cases. Ms. Harris will provide tips and areas to educate jurors about issues/evidence in prosecuting a person who has committed animal abuse. Attendees will receive practical strategies that include actual areas of questioning that can be asked of the jurors, used during closing arguments or to anticipate defenses.
