Join APA on October 8 at 3pm ET for a webinar that highlights two prosecutor's offices that address the issue of collateral consequences arising from driver's license suspensions. Every day around the country, individuals' driver's licenses are suspended for reasons that have nothing to do with a driving offense or public safety concerns. Both Marion County, Indiana and Durham, North Carolina have programs which directly address this issue, providing individuals with a means to reinstate their driver's license, expunge their record, or otherwise avoid impacting their access to employment and housing. Prosecutors Emily Shrock and Lucas Niekamp of Marion County and Dale Morrill of Durham will share their insights and expertise in this area, providing attendees a look at how their programs operate and participating in Q&A with the audience.
