The Association of Prosecuting Attorneys (APA) is pleased to announce that, in collaboration with the Miami-Dade State Attorney’s Office, we will be hosting a national summit on Prosecutorial Data Transparency and the Use of Data Dashboards on March 1-2, 2023, in Miami, Florida. The purpose of this convening is to highlight promising prosecutorial practices that leverage data and public-facing data dashboards to advance transparency, race equity, and community engagement. This smart justice summit will also focus on the use of data to make strategic decisions about resource allocation, case prioritization, and programming. This summit will feature presentations on enhancing data readiness, improving data infrastructure, data culture, offer resources on the development of internal and public-facing dashboards, and feature a vendor showcase.

The meeting will begin on Wednesday, March 1st at 8:30 am and will conclude on Thursday, March 2nd at 1:00 pm. There will be an optional event the evening of Tuesday, February 28th.

The registration fee is $50 for APA Members and $75 for Non-Members.
