Prosecutors Against Gun Violence Prosecutors Against Gun Violence (PAGV) is hosting its annual conference on June 4-5, 2024 at Fordham University in the Bronx, New York, in partnership with the Association of Prosecuting Attorneys (APA). The conference is titled: "Prosecutors and the Other Pandemic: Preventing Gun Violence, Restoring Communities." Since the COVID-19 pandemic, gun violence has risen at an alarming rate across the United States. During Gun Violence Awareness Week, this conference will bring together approximately 200 elected prosecutors, practitioners, and experts from various jurisdictions to discuss the impact of gun violence, with a focus on youth, from the perspective of the modern-day prosecutor’s office, as well as seek prevention and healing. The meeting will begin on Tuesday, June 4th at 8:00 am Eastern Time and will conclude on Wednesday, June 5th at 4:15 pm.
