Victims in all cases including capital cases may suffer economic losses subject to an award of restitution. Prosecutors and victims should not disregard establishing and collecting restitution for economic loss because recovery presents challenges in capital litigation. This training will focus on establishing and collecting restitution using important creative tools that may be available to survivors who suffer loss in cases involving capital punishment. This webinar is open to all prosecutors and prosecution teams, including investigators and advocates. Registrants may be required to verify employment prior to the webinar.
